Welcome to the Sussex Nomads online forum, where you can find out about everything that's happening in the club.
If you're a paid-up member, you can sign in and get full details of all our events (including downloadable route maps and profiles), contribute to discussions or start new topics, post blogs and list your own events.
If you're thinking about joining, you can sign up for a month's free trial. See you at a club event soon!
You only have a couple more days to enter the ESCA Reliability Trial - you can only enter BY POST, and your form must reach the organisers by FRIDAY 28th - do it now!
Looking further ahead, how about ...
You can always find details of forthcoming cyclosportive events under the SPORTIVES tab or by clicking here
Racing starts at 8:00 am at Ditchling Beacon. Event HQ (where we'll have an indoor warm-up area and where you'll be able to get coffee, cake and bacon butties) is at Ditchling Village Hall. Please park at or near to the hall - there will be NO parking at the start line.
Not racing? This is a great event for spectators - come and watch on the Beacon or see the results on screen at Event HQ.
Non-members: you are welcome to join us on our club run, heading for one of our favourite destinations for coffee and cake, afterwards.
Our Annual General Meeting takes place at Hurstpierpoint College - be there if you possibly can! This is your opportunity to make sure that your committee is running the club the way you expect and setting priorities that are relevant to you.
If you have ideas, enthusiasm and even just a small amount of free time, we'd like you to consider joining the committee for the coming year. All of the key roles on the committee are up for election or re-election each year, and several of the current officers will be standing down, so we definitely need new volunteers. Have a look at the committee roles by clicking here and think about where you might be able to help - you'll be able to find out more at the meeting.
Most of the roles need no special skills, and if you're not confident that you have enough experience to be able to do one of them right away, you may be able to help the outgoing officer for a few months, so that you can learn from them at your own speed. Or just come along and find out how you could make a difference in your own way.

Click here for a full club run listing, and get every Sunday off to a good start.
If you're new to group riding, our Come & Try It rides, normally on the first Sunday of the month, are for you - a gentle 12-15 mile (20-25 km) ride to join the rest of the club for coffee and cake.
We always need RIDE LEADERS and LANTERNES ROUGES, especially for the slower-paced groups. If you can help by downloading the course and looking out for riders less experienced than you, please make yourself known at the start.
RIDE LEADERS click here for ways in which you can make your rides run more smoothly and be more satisfying for everyone.
